October Markets, New Producers and Spooky Candles

As October promises to bring beautiful autumn foliage and cooler weather, now is the perfect time to stock up on your favourite locally produced goods. We have a bumper selection of producers at both Haslemere and Milford this month, including four new producers for you to experience.

Joining us at Haslemere for the first time are Henderson’s Fishmongers, Homegrown Soaps ‘N’ Stuff, Newhouse Game and Noble and Stace Chocolatiers. Homegrown Soaps will also be at Milford. Scroll down to find out more about these producers.

Featured Producer – Frensham Market Farm

Looking for something a little different this Halloween? Be sure to stop by Mrs B’s Bees stall for these wonderful ghost candles and skulls. We’ve been told that the skulls even “bleed”!!

Henderson’s Fishmongers

Joining us at Haslemere for the first time is Henderson’s Fishmongers. Henderson’s is a family owned fishmonger to be based in Yateley, Hampshire, selling sustainable fresh fish and crustaceans. Sustainability is a key to Henderson’s and endeavour to use suppliers who match our ethos and have the same environmental mindset as ourselves.

Homegrown Soaps ‘N’ Stuff

Homegrown Soaps ‘n’ Stuff are joining us at both Haslemere and Milford. Homegrown will be bringing handcraft luxurious soaps, shampoos, hair and beard conditioners, deodorants, and shave bars, all made with naturally derived ingredients and packaged in eco-friendly materials. Their mission is to eliminate plastic bottles filled with harsh detergents from every bath, shower, and kitchen sink. They’re committed to sustainability—our products are free from palm oil, SLS, and parabens, ensuring a clean, gentle experience for both you and the planet.

Newhouse Game

Newhouse Game will also be making their SWSFM debut at Haslemere this month. Newhouse is a small, family-owned game dealer based in Fawley, Southampton, near Lepe Country Park. Their game is sourced from trusted estates in New Forest National Park, ensuring that every animal is treated with the utmost respect and care. They prioritise best standards and conservation, working closely with local wildlife management organisations to protect the natural habitats, as they believe in the importance of preserving nature’s balance while providing you with the freshest, most flavourful game meat available.

Noble and Stace Chocolatiers

Last, but certainly not least this month are Noble and Stace Chocolatiers. They will be bring their mouth-watering chocolates to Haslemere for the first time. They are an artisan chocolatier, handcrafting small batches of award-winning chocolates, tablettes and truffles. Seasonal items for Christmas, Easter and Valentines plus bespoke chocolates for events. They have won Great Taste awards in 2020, 2021 and 2023.
