October Markets at Haslemere and Milford

Autumn is here! Get cosy with the best of our local makers, from Mrs B’s Honey ghost candles to Butler Country Estates’ smoked trout (perfect for those crisp autumn nights).

Join us at our Milford and Haslemere Farmers’ Markets to stock up on everything from sizzling sausages, rich olive oils, indulgent chocolates & pies, and so much more. Only treats, no tricks! Stay for the flavours and let’s keep supporting our incredible local producers this season.

Chairmans Note

Autumn is well and truly upon us with discrete changes all around from colder mornings and a more yellow brown palette in the vegetation.

On the farm our pigs are feasting this year with the additional acorns and glut of fruits from the trees and hedgerows. We were particularly happy to team up with the National Trust’s Swan Barn Farm in Haselmere this year, collecting all of the apple pulp from the cider pressing. It was great to see such community involvement with the Community Orchard Project Southeast (COPSE) leading this collaboration for zero waste.

As SWSFM is now transitioning to a CIC, we are looking for more engagement with the community. If you have any projects supporting the environment, food or farming, we would be particularly interested to hear about them and potentially support.

Haslemere and Milford have some great October producers booked. Look out for autumnal changes on your favorite stalls, be it varieties, flavours or products.
