About Drybay Smallholding
We live on a smallholding near Billingshurst in West Sussex with (among other animals) our herd of goats and sheep.
The goat’s milk is an amazing, natural resource. We started making soap when the goats produced more than we could use at home. Our soap is made using only four necessary ingredients to keep it as pure and simple as it can be. We do NOT use palm oil. We use essential oils and pure botanicals to further enhance the soap
Our flock of sheep include several Leicester Longwool sheep (a rare breed) which are renowned for their high lustre fleece. They are sheared by us at home, and the fleece is professionally worsted spun in Cornwall. This process aligns the fibres making it extra soft against the skin. We offer the spun skeins of wool, carded fibre and some small handmade products.
From time to time, we may have other products to offer from our smallholding – willow wreath bases to make your own seasonal wreath, dried flowers or quail eggs.
We share images of the animals on our Instagram account @drybaysmallholding.
